About NAFA
NAFA, the National Association for Fixed Annuities, is a national trade association exclusively dedicated to promoting the awareness and understanding of fixed annuities – including income, declared rate, market value adjusted and indexed. NAFA is the only association whose sole purpose is advocating for fixed annuities and educating regulators, legislators, consumers, members of the media, industry personnel, and distributors about fixed annuities and their benefits to retirees and those planning retirement. NAFA’s membership of over 100 carriers and independent marketing organizations (or field organizations) representing over 200,000 agents and registered representatives selling fixed annuities is extremely grateful for this opportunity to provide input. NAFA was founded in 1998 and is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mission
NAFA leads the industry in promoting awareness and understanding of all fixed annuities including income, declared rate and indexed.  NAFA provided educational and informational resources, industry-leading conferences, and critical news about the fixed annuity industry.  NAFA also protects consumers by guiding members to adhere to the highest standards of market conduct and ethical behavior.  NAFA is the only advocate dedicated exclusively to the unique values of fixed annuities, and their role in insuring American' retirement savings and income.

Any person or organization that has an interest in fixed annuities products is eligible to apply for membership in the organization. Subject to application, payment of dues and ratification by the Board of Directors, membership is non-transferable and nonassignable. Dues are assessed on a calendar year basis, based on your distribution of fixed annuities.

The entities displayed throughout this website are those of NAFA paid members, advertisers or sponsors of NAFA events. NAFA's membership is open to insurance carriers, marketing organizations, producers, brokers, consultants, vendors and consumers who actively help to promote, distribute, or purchase fixed annuities. NAFA does not endorse, sponsor or promote any particular insurance product, analytical or training tool, person or entity and any representation that it does is false.
